Little Emma Faith

Hangin' out in her PJ's

With her two favorite things: pink Bear Blankey and Mattie

Our precious little Em is scheduled for her second round of Ear Tubes. Surgery is planned for Monday morning in Evansville. Her first set was placed in August 07 and everything went really well until about a month ago when the right one fell out and fluid built up and eventually ruptured her eardrum earlier this month. Then just yesterday the right one burst again. So the tubes are going back in. Hopefully this will be our last set. She didn't have a fever, complained about ear pain one time and 12 hours later the rupture occurred. Please keep her & the medical staff (and her dear sweet parents!) in your prayers Monday morning. Thanks!

Oh poor little gal! Ear infections are no fun for baby or mama! We were just in the ER about a month ago with a bulging ear drum (they thought it would rupture but thankfully didn't) ENT said probably next infection we will be getting them too. I will pray for your little Emma that all goes well.

Dillon had his first ear infection at 3 mos and first set of tubes at 14 mos. Second set at 28 mos and after about a year they fell out but he hasn't had even a hint of an ear infection since then. :) (He will be 18 this year lol)

I think everything went well, but we just wanted to say we were thinking of you all today. I hope Emma got a chance to sing for her surgeon - she is just too cute. beth :-)
