Spring Break is quickly coming to a close. We did a little bit of everything this week. The highlight for the kiddos was on Tuesday when we went on an overnight adventure to.....[suspenseful pause]....Washington!! We got a room at the Baymont and had a wonderful time. The girls were excited about having a pizza party in the room and then swimming their little hearts out all evening. Had another party before bedtime thanks to Dad's quick trip to the BP up the street...Starburst and Reece's Pieces topped off our night. Slept in Wednesday morning and ate a great breakfast in the lobby before jumping into our swimsuits for another round of pool fun. When we pulled into the driveway afterwards A noted that it sure didn't take us long to get home from the hotel!!
Friday we headed to Terre Haute to visit my BIL Nathan. Had a good time catching up with him. The girls were energetic and fighting over his attention! He couldn't quite understand E but he and A had a great time doing math problems. He was also able to hold C for the first time. He really enjoyed that and C even shot him a few grins so that was super special. Then before we left we had someone take a snapshot of us all together. Nathan said he'll send it to us when he gets it back.
All in all we had a wonderful week off from school. A is ready to go back but said she'll be happy when summer break is here. I think her mom will be happy too!!

you don't have to go far to have a good time for sure! The girls had a great time saturday...I had told Ava she could have a friend, then, all fell apart...but mom was happy to help out and play with the kids...glad she got to come:)
