After service we had some family over for lunch to celebrate. While we were planning it last weekend the weather was gorgeous so we made plans to have everything out in the garage. But the weather didn't cooperate with us yesterday. It was cold and wet all day long so the plans changed. We borrowed a long table and some chairs from mom and dad and set them up in the family room. My oldest, A, was all excited about having 20 people in the house for lunch. She even made the comment that a few people would have to eat in the bathroom!! Thankfully though no one had to do that! It was crowded for sure but it was so nice to spend time with our wonderful family. I'm so thankful our children have the opportunity to enjoy the blessing of a big extended family.

we had a really nice time yesterday, and there was plenty of room. thanks again for hosting us. i am taking the book you lent us to work tomorrow for our forced leisure reading time, so i am looking forward to that!
